Hey all,

Anyone shoot on of these or have any experience with the caliber & pistol? It's peeked my interest and I'd like to know more.....

TCM 22 Rock Island Armory

Sounds like a really interesting cartridge. Looks like a 9mm necked down to .22 (although it's a cut down .223)
It's running in the 5.7 space but Wikipedia shows the TCM with a bigger bullet and lower velocity, for example:
TCM 40 gr 1875fps
FN 5.7 31 gr 2350 fps

If 9mm's can be converted w only a barrel change and the ammo is cheaper, could put the hurt on the 5.7.
"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations..."

I've only sold one but the customer said it's the most fun thing he's ever shot.

Interesting... but is there any place local to get the ammo or will you have to order it online?

I have a buddy that has the double stack version. I've shot both TCM and 9mm from it. They're really smooth and a fun gun to shoot. The TCM is extremely loud, louder than a PMR-30 and possibly even a 5.7. I've been debating picking one up, just tough justifying the price for a somewhat novelty item.

Armscor makes them but I'd assume that will be short lived. As with most wildcats like this anyone that produces it in the future it will be ridiculously high priced. Things like this are better suited for the handloader.

My dad has one. It is fun to shoot. He has only found ammo at the General Store(?) in Osakis or Little Crow in Hutch. I think Armscor is the only one making ammo for this right now. Hopefully someone else will make it so its more readily available. Armscor was going to release a semi auto rifle in this caliber but I dont know if it ever did. You can "custom" dies from Lee but I havent found any published data on this yet. Only people experimenting.

Thanks for all the input! I'm a reloader so I wouldn't mind loading my own ammo
