Discussion of handguns

Santa's name is not Wrench, it's Greg.

GregatTractusArms in fact. But I do hope Wrench is an elf because I need some magazines.

I've been jonesing for a 9mm 1911 and came close to one (the same one) twice. Then I saw a third one but it wasn't quite right.
Then Santa Greg called me and said that he had something in that might be on my wish list. He was right. Wilson Combat CQB Elite 9mm spec'ed nearly like the 45acp that I have on order. I field stripped, lubed, removed the shock buff and headed to OGC today. It was great. Nearly 70 acres and I was the only one there.

The gun came apart and went back together like silk pj's on a new baby. Easiest ever in my 1911 experience. I shot 100 rounds through it without any issues.
The overall fit of the gun is beautiful and thankfully the gold bead front sight jumped out at me like a light. It's everything that I expected from a Wilson Combat.
Any fears that I had regarding a 9mm 1911 are diminished. The overall shooting experience was like a BHP, except BETTER.

I can't say enough about Greg. He showed me other guns that I asked about and one of his own personal builds. He was easy going and didn't become a 'salesman' at anytime. It was on overall perfect experience. Don't hesitate to give him a call if something on his site strikes your fancy or if you're jonesing for a semi-custom/custom 1911.

Stop with the 1911 porn! You have a tendency to have a significant impact on my pocketbook ;)

Sorry, too small for a self respecting 800 pound troll.... If it were an honest 9x23 chamber, I might get slightly excited..

Merry Christmas V Man. It was nice seeing you at the show.
If Wrench out shoots me with the 9mm RO from John, I'm going to weep. LOL

Thanks for all of the kind words fellows.

Merry Christmas Sawgrass and Wrench. You can always sell your 1911 and buy 4 or 5 Range Officers if she out shoots you. LOL
