.380 auto ammo

Postby LittleWisky81 on Fri Dec 27, 2013 8:25 pm

I got a Ruger LCP for Christmas this year. Anyone know of where to go for .380 auto ammo that seems to have fair prices? Want to grab a bunch before the lead bullets are no longer in production, but am having troubles finding a supply online...

Think you may be worrying to much about that... but I could be wrong. ? 380 has not been hard to find in recent months.

I've looked at cabelas, gander and FF websites- none of which have it on there. All other sites: Sportsman's guide, Ammo to go, etc are sold out...
Wondering if the end of the world is coming or something, as it's only .380 for pete's sake... Or unless everyone else out there got that caliber for xmas too - lol.

WalMart in Owatonna has it.

They also have 9 mm, 40 SW, 45 ACP, 38 SW, and 5.56/223.

They don't have ANY 22 LR ammo.

Owatonna FF has 380 ACP and others but no 22 LR.

I haven't looked on line too much but Cabela's in Rogers frequently has Herter's brass in stock.

Fleet farm in Brooklyn park had a bunch yesterday. I wouldn't worry about lead bullets going away any time soon. Unless you live in California

OP, not sure where you are located but FMJ and PD 380 ammo was on the shelves at Carver Fleet Farm and Eden Prairie Gander as of just a couple days ago.

FF in Rochester has .380 pretty regularly. Both blazer brass and wwb.

I think I've seen 380 on the shelf in Brooklyn Park for a good month now if not longer.

Cabelas in Rogers had a shelf full of Herters .380 this morning. At $16.90 per a box of $50, its the best deal you're going to find. They had about 15 boxes on the 2nd shelf, and about 50 boxes on the bottom shelf (that's after the 10 boxes I bought  ). They also had a few boxes of the green PMC.

For self defense, they had a few boxes of critical defense and 4 boxes of the good stuff- Cor Bon. Now there's only 1 box left. Box of 20 for $21.

Gander Mountain in Woodbury had some about a week ago.
