Ummm, the gun not going fully into battery would be a cause of this problem.

I recently had a G19 do something similar, and that was right after I had installed a new recoil spring assembly (factory part). I put another new recoil spring assembly, and that took care of the problem. How many rounds on your spring?

I use copper plated SWC from X-Treme bullets if I shoot 200gr. I have been shooting 230gr JHP from Montana Gold mostly. No lead in my barrel. I clean it every time I shoot and I look down the barrel to be sure the rifling is not fouled.

About 1200-1500 rounds. I tried a new spring and it didn't solve the problem so I put the old one back in. I bought two extra springs from Midway when I was ordering other components. Anyway, once I realized the problem and simply pushed the slide forward with my thumb, it has fired every round I put into it. I oiled it up pretty heavy during the last cleaning [with the exception of the trigger parts] and mild in the barrel hoping the problem is gone for good. I will keep you posted if it returns.

If you need factory parts for you Glock, just go into Streichers in Plymouth. The are easy to find off 55, west of 169 they are lot cheaper then Midway on small parts etc.

Just turn south on S. Shore Drive and go up the hill, behind a Metro Transit Parking Ramp you will see the building to your right.
