Anyone have a Springfiled Armory XDm?

Specifically a 40 S&W w/4.5 inch barrel? If so, can you strip it down and post a pic of the barrel?

I have a 5.25 9mm if that would help. Couldn't get pics until tonight though.

Here is what I am looking for. Had some issues reloading that my POS pocket scale was off enough that my bullets didn't have enough powder to eject to the next round. Was thinking I had a bullet jam in barrel as there is a symetrical ring toward the front of barrel. A bulged i don't think would do this. Plus, the inside looks perfect. Also, I looked at a schematic of the barrels on springfield armorys web site, which shows this. Haven't been able to go into town to find one at a LGS to take apart to see. Would appreciate it if you could look at yours and post it.

I have that gun...here's a pic. Looks like concentric ring is normal.

I have been shooting a XMD 4.5 in 40s&w for years in USPSA matches. I have had that same issue with cycling in the past and what I found is that if the slide to frame contact areas are dry it will cause the slide to drag on the frame and not cycle properly. After lubing the slide and the mounting block in the frame the gun cycles like a dream. I have told other XDM shooters about this at matches and they couldn't believe how much better it cycles with just a little bit of lube.

Much better picture than the one you sent me - Glad your barrel is okay.

Had allot of oil on it plus bad angle. Glad I don't need a new barrel. Just back from the range today from testing new reloads. Working awesome as usual.
