I would like to pick up a Shield .40, but they seem to go kaboom.
Should I?
Would you?

There was a lot of Glock .40 KB talk back in the day and I have yet to personally witness one or know anyone personally that has experienced it. It's a bit snappy but not intolerable. If you're in the metro you're welcome to meet me at Metro some time and try it out.

Are you serious? The S&W Shield is no better than the compact Glocks or the Beretta Nano. Maybe someday you will shoot something worthwhile instead of a "run of the mill"fad gun. You need to get out more.
