It's just policy, there's no money in SF 878.

I've got other bills to pay now, but it won't be too long before I'll Form 1 something if it becomes legal.

I've been drooling over a picture of a VP9 withe a threaded barrel on it for the past 4 days or so but sadly I wouldn't be able to buy a suppressor till tax return season most likely. Unless I get that attachment that makes it so you can use Oil Filters as a suppressor. I think those are only like $70 + $200 tax stamp

Don't waste your money.

Might get a .40 suppressor to shoot 180 grain subsonics. Or 9mm for 147 grainers.

The oil filter suppressor.

Do your research before you go that route. You could form-1 a home build using readily available parts and freeze plugs if you have more mechanical skill than a monkey for 100 bucks, and it will actually work really well.

I'm thinking I'll start with a 22lr, 45 and a 7.62 suppressor. The 45 will work on 9mm and 40. The 7.62 will work on .223, 6.5 and blackout. From there can always add more if needed.

I was also thinking of getting one of those 10/22 barrels where basically the entire barrel is a suppressor for my first suppressor but idk. The thought of a suppressed VP9 sounds cooler 8-)

After further research I went with the Recce 7 over the 30-SD - better accuracy with the more stable mount. Nice to find at about $150 under MSRP with tax. Trust filing sure saves time. My $200 ATF charge processed next day.

Don't misconstrue the ATF cashing your check, with getting an approval. They always process the check ASAP.

After the check is cached, it takes awhile before it eventually goes Pending, meaning it is assigned and being worked on. Typically it will be approved or denied within a month or two of going pending, then a few more calendar days to your dealer for a form 4, and you can complete the transaction.

Even when applications are taking a year or more, they still cash the check within a couple days of receiving your application.

Nothing yet! Still researching. Big brand vs small manufacturer.
