Handgun Photo Thread

I scored this "new old stock" performance center over the holidays for what I think is a great price. Seller was honest enough to tell me after the sale that the rear sight blade had damage on it and covered the cost of a new blade from Wilson and a bit more... Debating if I want to shoot it now or put away until summer

What an excellent 1911, highly recommend! Very close in build quality, feel and accuracy to semi-customs like Les Baer and others.

A couple of images of my recently acquired Walther PPQ M2 in .40 S&W. The slide had just come back from being refinished in titanium nitride.

Not so awsome picture quality here, but all I got is an iPad and zero talent. I'll call these done when I get checkered G10 green G-Mascus grips on the desert.

Great looking gun, especially with some good wood grips!

I designed this based on my dad's 1964 FN Target (same as the Browning Challenger). Ahlman's did the drilling, tapping, millwork and DuraCoat. I have all the original parts so I can return it to the way my dad bought it in 1965. It was quite accurate on initial test, but I did a complete strip last night and cleaned out some 50 year old factory grease and oil. While it was open, I did a mild trigger polish and it is now much smoother.
