Left and right sides first:

As a bit of background, while I am very familiar with the setup of Tanfoglios, with the barrel having two locking lugs mating with the slide, I had never seen a CZ 97 before, so I did not know that the slide/barrel locking was like a Sig/Glock. That being said, there are certainly a ton of good guns out there set up this way.
The slide/barrel spring below:

One piece of info you won't find out there is the spring weight, and this gun is set up with an 18 pound spring, which is reasonable for full power 45 loads. Figured this out from getting the Wolff Extra power calibration pack, and measuring the spring wire thickness. The 18 pound spring (they are ALL 30 turns, including the SAR spring...) is 42 mils thick like the SAR spring.
The sights are adjustable for windage and elevation, which is good, because mine shoots down and to the left.

One really cool feature is the chambered round indicator: Yup, there's one in there!!

The trigger setup is EXTREMELY familiar to me, and it looks to be a Tanfoglio assembly straight up. Good to know if you need parts...

One thing I always did with my Tanfoglios was polish the feed ramp to improve function/feeding, but with this barrel right out of the box I saw no reason to touch this one.

Mentioning the barrel, the barrel gives FULL support to the case all the way around, so there have been none of my Austrian troll cousins near this gun!

As far as how it shoots, I took it out of the box and shot 50 rounds of 200 grain cast SWC's and 50 rounds of Berry's plated 230 grain RN's one handed into a target at 30 feet. Both lo0ads were about 5% below max. Due to a lot of things, this was the first time I had been shooting in over a year
