Help.... want a 22lr 1911 ---- what is the meltdown law?

Is there some way or some one who knows how to find out if the ...... Colt 1911 Government A1 rail gun 22lr is legal ??

I saw a used one in a shop..... and had a dealer say they can sell them,,, another one say they can't.... but they are $100 cheaper online and want to order one online.

Find somebody who will transfer it and order one. Buds has a good price on the railed version in tan.

Legal for you to own but not legal to sell although many do sell them.

I recently bought walther p22 pistols online and had them shipped to Arnzen. They are unable to do the transfer to me due to the melting temp tests. They recommend i send them back. I have them sent to an ffl in WI can i do the transfer there and bring them to mn? Or is the law regarding adjacent states just for long guns?
I hope gun laws and tax laws get more complicated.

interestingly unlike the Colt Walthers which gun genie won't allow selling into MN. The P22 is good to go and it will let me buy one, it would cost $305 if you buy one from gun genie and ship to Joes sporting goods.

Buying a Nelson Custom .22 conversion will give one a great 1911 and help avoid all this meltdown drama... I really enjoy mine!
