SIG HAMMERLI P-240 32 WC

Postby SIGP240 on Thu Dec 18, 2008 11:11 pm

Anybody know if the 32 WC conversion made by SIG has to be fitted to the frame (I own a 38 WC already?) I know that those little Swiss Gnomes make a good product, It's just I don't know if the conversion is ready to go as is, or need mating.

I know what a 38 WC is, but 32 WC? Does that use a 32 ACP or 32 S&W Long case, Bob?

It is a 32 S&W long. I think that is is a way to shoot centerfire competition without having to be beat up by 45 auto in the same target game.

I ran into a fantastic dealer in Grey, ME. Larry's Guns. He owns the US sales territory for a red dot scope. His inventory has three 32 WC conversions for just under 2000$. Not bad, since my 38WC p-240 was 2500$ used!

Wow, so you can get the conversion? I figured Sig would say screw you, we don't want the risk of someone tinkering with their guns on their own.

Then again, maybe they figure a guy who shoots such an esoteric caliber probably has a good idea what he is doing.
