sorry, didnt realize those pics would be so huge..

and btw i stole the pics of the Gun and the holster.. the holster shown is the milt sparks one, but it does not have the tuckable clips on it. the leather ones come off with a screw, and you buy the kydex ones for about 8 bucks.

I'll reiterate what pinnacle has already stated. Get what fits YOUR hand. If you don't like how it feels, chances are you won't practice or carry.

Glocks do not fit my hand but Para's do. Hence, I carry the P12. Thirteen rounds are comforting... :D

I already own Glock 9mm and 45ACP (17 and 21SF respectively) and as a previous post pointed out, I can use existing magazines with carry size Glocks (at least, as backup magazine). Are there any single stack Glocks in 45ACP? My initial thought has been a 9mm, perhaps the Glock 19, but I need to take a few for a test run. Not to mention actually getting the permit.

I'm pretty sure the G36 is a single stack.

Glock's (double stack), 1911 (single stack) and Para fit my hand. I shoot equally well with the Glock and the 1911 in 45 caliber (maybe a slight edge to the 1911). So, for me, I would consider a concealable, powerful and reliably weapon; not necessarily in that order. That covers a LOT of options. Assuming I take that route, the gun(s) I may consider carrying at any given time, should probably shoot lead, which kind of eliminates the Glocks (I refuse to buy a new weapon and immediately swap out the barrel and I am not fond of the idea of carrying a used weapon for self defense, at least not until I am very very sure of it (that goes for new as well, but at least I know how many rounds have gone through it, how well it is maintained and that I get to break it in myself.

I normally carry a Bersa Thunder 380. It's reasonably priced, easily concealed under a loose shirt or jacket and at 21 feet is easy to put shots on target.

My Choice

Both HK's. P2000SK in .40 and USPC in .45, both are nice carry in my Alessi holsters. Give HK a try.
