I have a Taurus M94 which is OK. It's not a Smith despite that the salesman it was "Just like a Smith." I knew better.

I am neutral about it. I wouldn't brag about it like I do about my 28-2, which is a whole different beast.

For a .22 range gun it suits the purpose.

I would assume they are not as stout as a Ruger which means I might not want to shoot Corbon loads. But would you say they are equal to a Smith?

Not going to be equal to a smith in trigger pull etc but in strength I would have no qualms.

My Raging Bull looks a lot sturdier than my S&W Model 29.

How about using a .45 colt with CorBon's .45 LC Magnum +P I have a Ruger Vaquero. I dropped a doe at 30 feet with this load.

I am not a fan of the Taurus company's products.

Blasphamey Elmer! I love Taurus. I have 2 Tauri revolvers and have never had issues with either (.357 and .22 mag). Had a friend who had their 6 inch .44 Mag (this was before the tracker series) he never had issues with it. I shot it a few times, thought it shot well.

I have to agree. I had a chance to shoot a Taurus 357 mag 6" (I don't recall the model) and it was a nice, accurate shot, with both 38 special and 357 mag bullets. It handled recoil very well. I would definitely consider one for myself, but I am not in the market for one at the moment.
You could get a new lease on life -- if only you didn't need the first and last month in advance.
