You are correct sir. What you are forgetting is the OP. This thread was based on SAM's desire to purchase a 1911 chambered in .45, and he invited tomfoolery. And BTW - if you're gonna go big bore, the DE50 is the way to go. The mags drop free, so you can reload as fast as any other semi, and it obviously will kick the pins off the table. BTW - was this a 5 pin match or a 10 pin match, and if it was a 10, were the pins in a standard triangle configuration or in a row??
