I hope they bring back the Mateba Model 6 Unica design someday. Bottom-firing semi-auto revolvers are neat.

Maybe we'll see it at the next steel shoot with a red-dot on top and an open front holster.

I still think MrVrooooooommmmmm should shoot the steel shoot with the Coonan. Heck, I'll bring full house .357's and shoot the Coonan at the next steel shoot ;-)

It's not a Python but not bad looking either. Looks like a S&W 642 and a unsingle trapgun got busy and produced this gnarly looking thing. Gotta love that.

Does it look cool? Maybe to some people.

But what is it really doing to improve the gun? Lowering the bore axis so it isn't about accuracy.

Design is nothing new as I have seen the lowered barrel designs in antique firearm collections.

The concept may not be new but I'm unaware of many other currently manufactured revolvers that fire from the bottom cylinder. I would love to have one of these just for fun and the novelty of the design.

I see Grant Cunningham got one, I'll be interested to see his range report. That thing looks huge! (unless he has tiny hands.)
