Who likes mouseguns?

Postby Ramoel on Tue Aug 07, 2007 5:18 pm

I've got a small mousegun collection. I rarely shoot and seldom carry them unless I have to be very discreet (almost never). Calibers are: two .32 acp, two .22 LR and one .25 acp.

How do the rest of you feel about mouseguns and what do you have?

I have a .177 caliber CO2 pellet pistol. I think it counts, because I have actually shot a mouse with it. :)

Mouse guns? Does a 9mm count? :D

I'm generally opposed to arming rodents with firearms. None of my mice are armed as far as I know). However, I recently picked up a Beretta Tomcat just for fun. Haven't got it to the range yet. I seem to remember that James Bond had a small cal Beretta until he was forced to move up to the mighty .380 (Walther PPK).

One of my .32's is a Tomcat, the other .32 is a PPK just like James Bond 8-) Bond carried a .32 PPK, not a .380...

AMT .380 Backup. Nice small pocket pistol in stainless steel. Going to sell it and buy a HK 2000sk 40 or Kahr pm40.

I want one of these more than anything else right now. It's at the top of my handgun wish list. A dealer at a show I visited about three months ago had two in his case. Both were above a grand. Cobb, if we're ever at the same range together, please bring this along so I can run a few rounds through it. That experience might actually push me over the edge to buy one. I already think these things are worth the price, I just can't get over the possibility that I buy one and then not be able to shoot it any better than my current pocket guns. And of course, when you're ready to sell yours, please be sure to think of your old buddies on this list first.

I'm disappointed to hear those R9s are so expensive. It probably would have replaced the P3AT at the top of my wish list. The only guns I ever see myself spending more than a grand on are a 1911 and an AR.

I just got rid of the only mousegun I've owned, it was a Beretta Bobcat. It was real picky on ammo, had a lot of FTF and FTE issues. I never found the right ammo for it.

Nope. It is an old picture before holster making. It's an UM #4 Pocket holster.
