My first 1911

I wish it was 25 yards! I think it was around 21 feet. I was shooting my reloads. Free standing :)

I ended up buying a 1911 front and rear sight pusher tool to fix my front sight.

What do you think of this comp?

You bought a gun that has classic, graceful lines.
The Ruger is a fine example of a more traditional looking 1911. I wouldn't tart it up.

Even at 21 feet that's nice shooting and clearly a nice gun.

I'm really excited for the short range to be finished! It's looking pretty good.
I noticed yesterday that the concrete is poured!

Not really. Just always liked the look of comps. I love the look of it now, and I don't want to ruin the classic look.

Yah it's looking good! Can't wait for it to be finished!
I'm going to pass on the comp. I have them on my rifles and one pistol, ruger 22/45 lite and it looks good. Wasn't too sure on the 1911.
