Is there an appraiser that you would recommend or is there a resource that I could consult to figure out what I have?

I'd love to take a look if you're ever in the Robbinsdale area. I've bought and sold a number of C-96s

You've awoken some ancient beings here. :bravo:

Back when I lived in the Cities, my boss at the time had a few old revolvers he had value questions on. I actually emailed the Bonhams auction and appraisal company.

It so happened that a gentlemen emailed me back, very kindly gave me an idea of value, and even went so far as to tell me to bring him any future valuation questions.

I'll PM the guys name to you, no idea if he still works there or what, but you might try something like that at any number of Major firearms auction houses.

Struck out with Bonham's UK. Too many variables for them to give me a guess without seeing it. ThankS EJSG19 for the suggestion.

Anyone else have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Darn, other than an appraisal/auction firearms house, not sure.

what I've been able to find out that I didn't know is that the serial number suggests the production was 1932-1934. At least a little bit more to figuring our what I have.

At one time I thought the MPLS library maintained the Blue Book of Gun values within a year, if you could reserve and get that anyway.

You might want a little better source of valuation than that, but I guess a lot of the industry goes off that anyway.

Gunbroker has about a little over a page of completed auctions.
