My new RIA CS 1911 with holster porn!

Here are some pics of my new RIA CS 3.5". Is is a very accurate gun and one I know will grow on me (hammAR your a bad influence ).

I also made a couple holsters... one is a The Slide with Caiman Alligator for a customer's 5" 1911 and one The Slide with real Rattle Snake window style.

I have more Caiman, Rattle, Stingray, black alligator and a few other things. The Rattle Snake has smooth leather inside and out (two pieces sandwiched together) so easier on the finish than the half smooth and rough.

Nope... don't do shoulder rigs. Note: From other holster makers there are HUGE return rates on shoulder holsters. To many variables to consider when making a shoulder rig.

Not much harms stainless and all my stuff is top coated with acrylic so very neutral.

...you don't need srigs for that,
I have made several "custom" fit holsters out of the neighbors noisy ankle biters,
just grab the SOB and insert.......
sometimes you need to do it several times to make sure to get the trigger covered....

FYI: this method does not work so well for fixed blade knives.....
