My 8 year old daughter shooting the .22 pistol for the first time. Ruger Mark III stainless 5 1/2" bull barrel w/weaver 2.5X8X32 scope. Am I a proud dad or what?!

I love shooting with my dad. Abby :)

Awesome! Way to get her started young. I don't have kids myself, but I pay my buddies kid to decap all my brass, and she's being taught to reload slowly from her dad, a long time reloader. I beleive she's 8-9.

Last summer my son shot the summer league at Isanti County Sportsman’s Club with me and darn near beat me with my own gun! :o

This is my little girl at Bills. We usually start off working on grip, stance and safety using DonL's targets but then I let her pick a fun target for some rapid fire giggles. For some reason she always picks osama bin laden and tries to shoot him in the nads. She makes me so proud :sniff: Bills is the place to go with kids.

It never ceases to amaze me that whenever Kids have some SAFE trgger time, the result is always an enormous display of white teeth. In fact I've also noticed that the same thing happens with adults too. I wonder is shooting fun?

My son did the same thing with a Bin Laden target, with both my Ruger Mk and his very own FEG PA-63 (his cash, Dad's CCW).
Sniff so proud of him!!It now hangs on the wall of his room, mortifying his leftist Aunts and Uncles!! :D
