Holster for Beretta 96 Centurion

Postby photogpat on Mon Jun 18, 2012 2:29 pm

Alright, so I broke down and bought my friend's M96 Centurion. It has a shorter barrel than a standard M96 (4.25" vs. 4.6"), but the frame is otherwise identical.

Question: What are my hip holster options? With the frame being same size as M96...can I use same holsters?

Yes, any Beretta 92/M9 holster will work perfectly fine.

Yes. I have used both in a Serpa... The slides are essentially the same on the two, but the barrel is a bit longer on the 92.

I have a Serpa that I use for mine. It works great.

I think I still have a Serpa if you want it. Actually I think I have RH and LH so whichever you prefer. My Berettas don't see holsters any more so let me know if you want one. Call it paying it forward. :D

Anyone free Sunday late afternoon to meet at OGC? I've got range duty, but its done at 4. I'd be happy to host someone for an hour or so of shooting afterwards if you could bring a M96 holster I could try out. Send me a PM and let me know.

Just don't wanna buy a bunch of holsters and have to return 'em like I did with the carry gun. <insert holster drawer joke/comment here> :D
