Whats your favorite handgun you've owned?

my SIG 1911.

Sig P226 X-5 L1 with 2 match grade BarSto barrels (one .40 and the other 9mm). The barrels were hand fit, trigger lightened and polished, and extractor mod done by GrayGuns. Currently wearing X10 grips and a Dawson Precision fiber optic front sight.

Best 5 round group was 0.85" at 25 yards with 9mm barrel, although I typically only shoot ~2.5" groups with it.

I miss it as well. We sure had great times together.
Thinkin about moving again next spring. This time out to Bremerton/Silverdale area in Washington state. Not gettin any closer. May be coming up there in mid September.

The H&K's 1st long double action trigger pull I am not so fond of, but still a great gun!

My 1911 was glitchy, if I had the cash some day I would love a custom one, never liked the safety lever, was hard to disengage, I do love single action triggers!

The S&W Model 41 my Mother gave to my Dad as a wedding anniversary present in 1960, which he then gave to me a few years ago so I could pass it on to my son when the time came. The blue job is like a mirror, don't shoot it much maybe 2500 rounds through it over the past 50 years.

A close second would be my 1979 Colt Gold Cup my folks gave me as a high school graduation present.

Gen 4 Glock 17. I thought Glock 'got it right' with the 17 and then the gen 4 texture came out. More betterness.
