Steyr M9-A1

Anyone have any experience with any of the Steyr pistols M9-A1, C9-A1, or S9-A1? They look intriguing. Anyone know of any dealers that have any? Wouldn't mind fondling one.

I have the S9-A1, I love it, it's a G26 you can get 3 fingers on. It's got a great trigger as well.

The S9-A1 was the model I was considering. How has the gun functioned? Any failures or issues? Thanks

I have the M9 and love it. I've had no malfunction problems, and love the ergonomics. Mine came from Cabela's a few years back. I'd be happy to let you shoot mine any time. Hit me up if you want to go make a bunch of noise somewhere.

The gun has functioned flawlessly for about 1100 rounds now, but I did have a magazine issue that caused the slide to lock back after the second to last round. Basically the follower was getting caught and not pushing the last round all the way to the top. This only happened with my reloads and I think it's because my Dillion sizing die is slightly tight, which makes the rounds a little bit narrow. The big fix for my issue was gently tapping the backs of the mag after I load them Vietnam-style. Since I started doing that I haven't had an issue.

Thank you for the offer might have to take you up on that sometime. Anyways what is a reasonable price for one of the 3 models? $450-500? Seems to be what I can find them for.

Is this the gun on sale at Cabela's for $379? If so, I need to drive to Rogers.

I have an older M9. The newer ones are designated M9-A1 and have some changes (not exactly sure what they are). I believe that the older ones are cheaper. I think that I paid around $380 for mine a few years ago. My buddy just shopped around and paid $550 for an A1 with 3 mags.
