1911's sure do look good in either a short barrel or long barrel. Nice pickup.

SRIGS can make you a holster if he doesn't already have one, and you need to wring it out real good at the range with plenty of ammo to find out what it likes. Ultra compact 1911's have a reputation for being finicky, seeing as the barrel and the associated recoil spring are so short, and you may have to get a different spring for +P+ premium defensive ammo.

Thanks, I'm a lefty so I'm usually stuck waiting the 9 weeks most custom holsters take.

So far it seems to like my Federal range ammo and HST just fine.

Love the grips on it! Nothing has quite the classy look of a 1911.

IWB or OWB holster? Are you against Kydex holsters?
