I prefer OWB and leather, but have nothing against kydex or IWB, it just doesn't work out as well for me (in my limited experience so far).

Man thats a pretty piece! This and the PPS are some nice additions to your collection. Congrats man! I'd love to hear a review of either.

You mean the XD-S?

Once I have more range time with both I'd be happy to... so far so good!

Beautiful firearm, you will enjoy it. I have an ultra CDP II with about 1300 trouble free rounds through it and it is a joy to shoot.
A few 1911's, two crazy boxers, a fast car and a half fast driver.

No, wasn't it you that just got the PPS/50 as well? That might be one one the most bad ass looking .22 rifles around.

I can now attest firsthand at the awesomeness of the XDS. (It's now my EDC.)

But I've seen this Kimber (used) for sale recently and it definitely caught my eye. I was seriously tempted. I'd love to hear your thoughts or opinions on it.

BTW Nice pic too.

Oh yeah sorry... Definitely a cool .22, can't wait to shoot it this weekend!

Will post a range report soon!

Good looking collection and no LH 1911 3" in stock sorry. But can make you anything you want. ;)

Ditto on the XDS. It has quickly become my go-to carry piece.

Don't get me wrong, I'm drooling over that Kimber. I LOVE the 1911s (I own several myself), but I never really got over the mental twitch regarding carrying it with that safety. I gave my Commander a good run, but settled on the XDS and haven't looked back...especially after adding the Talo rubberized grips to it.

Regardless, this ain't about me...its about your new, totally awesome, wish-it-was-mine Kimber! Congrats man!
