.380 ACP Glock Pistol Grip Size

Postby Faust on Wed Jun 04, 2008 5:30 pm

Does the .380 ACP line of Glocks have a smaller sized grip than the 9mm line of Glocks?

If anyone could link me to a sight with dimentions, or could input personal experience, it would be much appreciated.

As far as I know they are not available in the USA.

It should be the exact same size, but rtk is correct - Glock can not import the .380 into the USA.

Not to civies, however some law enforcement agencies have G25 and G28's that have been traded in, so there are a few .380acp GLOCKs around if you look hard.

Your basic Clintonian silliness. Not enough import points.

Here's the scoresheet. It's the reason it has been hard to get certain Walther pistols, too.

I was looking at a few guns and what they scored. It's seems arbitrary to the say the least.

I take that back. It was implemented as part of the 1968 Gun Control Act.

I'm sure I could find it if I looked more but does anyone know how a Bersa .380 makes the cut? It doesn't seem like it would score nearly high enough. Aren't those from Argentina or something?

Mike, it probably has something to do with the External hammer and manual safety. Not to mention that it's 15 points for having a steel frame rather than the polymer of the Glock.
Faust, all of the small frame Glocks are the same size, 9mm, .40, 357Sig, .380, 45GAP and 9x25Dillon
