Some nice guns at Gander Woodbury

Postby fabb600 on Fri Feb 22, 2013 12:06 am

Boy, they have some pretty nice guns stocked at that remodeled Woodbury store. If I weren't looking for a new carry gun I would have bought this there yesterday.

There were asking something like $1200 for it. Many great features, but I really love the feel of grips for starters.

That's a very, VERY nice gun but (big surprise) an absurd price. My buddy just literally bought one brand new for $850. I've been looking for one ever since I got to handle it. The grips are awesome, the trigger is incredible.

That looks interesting. Do many people run CZ in production? You should buy it so I can test it out.

I ordered a fullsize. God only knows when it'll get here. But, when it does, I'm more than willing to let others put ammo through it.

I have this one right now. They advertise that it's IDPA production approved. But at least one IDPA participant has informed me that he didn't think the local IDPA clubs would allow it because it doesn't have a decocker. I hope that's incorrect? I was thinking that as long as the weapon is pointed down range they would allow you to manually return the hammer. Otherwise CZ shouldn't advertise it as such!

People can shoot this one too. That is unless I sell it to get this one soon!: http://czcustom.com/czprotek1black.aspx

I might be willing to sell my basically new Shadow Target with several extra mags and a sweet IDPA MegTech holster if I decide on the compact custom carry. I'm gonna toss that idea around over the weekend! My gun and gear is almost new so I won't sell it cheap though.

PM me if you decide to sell your shadow, I might be interested. I won't pay gander prices for it though :D
Let me know.
Thanks, Dave
