Where can I find one locally, if at all?

Thanks in advance.

Honestly?

I'd go to your LGS of choice and then ask them if they could order it, and if so what cost/timeline for arrival.

I have yet to see one in person.

Cabelas usually has the mk25 or the m4a1 I can't recall what exactly that second model is. Both are special versions of the 226. Usually the mk25 navy runs $999 at cabelas.

good to know, thanks.

They run about $900 on gunbroker but then I've gotta deal with shipping, FFL, etc...

We found one at Scheels in St. Cloud a while ago, but it was bought soon after. They may have more or get more in, but not totally sure. I have heard that Rogers Cabelas or another place close to there had one as well.

Do any of you shoot at the Steel Shoots in Hutchinson? If so, I'll bring my MK25 out if you want to fondle it.

If you go with online you will save on the tax. On a $1000 gun at $20 FFL is better than $70 in tax. Keep an eye on slickguns.com. They search a lot of the big online stores.
