Cowboy Style Revolver Question

Postby gearguy10 on Tue Jun 04, 2013 8:09 pm

I've been playing around with a Ruger New Vaquero I've had in the safe for a while and I'm starting to get the cowboy action itch. I really, really love the look of the hammer on an old Colt Dragoon or Paterson but from what I've seen so far that big, C-style hammer is only available on black powder revolvers. Does anyone know of an old school cartridge-firing revolver that has that style hammer? Maybe something that looks like a black powder gun but fires cartridges?

Dang. Why did you have to go and show me that? Now I'm looking at Kirst Konverters, Dragoons...aw, man...the wife is not going to be happy if she finds out about this....
