Shot my new XDS 45

I picked up an XDS 45 for a carry weapon last Friday. Cleaned it up and took it to the range Saturday. I put the mag extension (pinky grip) on one of the mags. The pistol functioned flawlessly and contrary to what I've heard from others, I did not think the kick was too bad. I put 50 rounds of various configurations through it and my girlfriend another 20 or so. The groupings were good, too. I am very satisfied with this pistol and as soon as my IWB holster arrives it will be a carry weapon of choice for me. While my 1911 and my CZ75 will get more use at the range (and in IDPA) the XDS will always get it's share of range time because I like to practice with what I carry.

What do you plan on carrying for self-defense ammo? I bet it would work great with some 185 grain JHP like the Remington Golden Sabres....

It's very similar to the Galco Summer Comfort I have for my CZ and I love that holster so I thought this should work fine for me.
