Picked up my PK380 today, now to find ammo

Postby MaryB on Mon Jul 08, 2013 9:31 pm

Picked up my PK380 today, now on the hunt for ammo. Hate ordering online because of the shipping. Nobody in town had 380acp on hand.

You're probably not interested in a straight up trade for 9mm ?

I saw Buffalo Bore at Cabelas in Rogers recently but the price was astronomical.

Cabelas had all kinds of .380 on Sunday. $18 for 50 rounds of FMJ. Don't remember the brand but plenty on the shelf. I too have a PK380 and love it. Shoots great, my only gripe is I've had a couple empty cases drop down my shirt, because the eject straight up. It only hurts for a couple seconds! This is not the Buffalo Bore that was also out there. That stuff was astronomical. I think the $18 stuff was PMC, can't remember for sure.

My only complaint with the gun is the bluing on the barrel scratches easily. The bonus is the it also polishes out really easily. See link for barrel and other mods DIY and easy.

Well, when I see 5 weirdos dressed in togas stabbing a guy in the middle of the park in full view of 100 people, I shoot the bastards. That's my policy.

I'll have about 5 boxes of Factory 380 Auto Ammo in a few days. I'm trading a guy some other ammo for it and you can get it from me if it'll help. I'm in Edina, MN. PM me if it'll help you

Shipping via UPS is relatively cheap. Just need the proper markings on the side of the box and drop off at hub.

If anyone needs a pdf file for the ORM-D label that is White with Black Letters (Saves ink) PM me your email address and I'll send you the file. They will only be good until 12/31/13. Then ot changes to a Red Diamond.

Have a box coming from Cabelas, thanks everyone. Budget is limited the rest of the month. Need to save a little cash for gas for range trips on cooler days
