Quality is nice, feel solid in the hand. Square slide makes holster fit difficult. Hate the flat trigger on some models.

I love mine! They are a great value and I really like the way they look.

I haven't had any problems in over 15k rounds that weren't ammo related.

I had a stainless compact (CCO), that was great. Reliable, accurate, nice to carry. I replaced the Novak-type Sig sights with some Triji HD's. One weird MIM artifact on the ejector that I first thought might be a crack, but it never gave me any issues. Also, holster issues are not that bad if you like leather. I had two holsters for regular CMDR 1911's that both worked fine.

very accurate and high quality ..... I have coo and a full size.... the full size is a very nice felling and handling gun. the compact is the (coo) handles well is lights out shooter..... I have 3500 rounds through them combined w/ no issues.. ... I don't like the mags they come with... so I bought chip mccormicks, metalforms and wilsons.
I hear a lot about external extractors ..... no issues for me they both out shoot my 70 series colt and my xse colt .... w/o out exception..... not even close. the colts just sit safely in the safe where they cant break down or perform poorly or feel clunky in my hands .....

There may be a Tac Ops Carry in my future.

My best friend got a Sig 1911 Scorpion as a deployment special. We were very excited to take it to the range when he got back. We had nothing but problems with it till we (slowly and frustratingly) got about 250 rounds through it over two range trips as it had near constant extraction and feeding issues of all kinds. We would just pass the gun back and forth as one of us would get frustrated shooting it. It would have gone back to Sig if it had not finally starting behaving at the end of the second trip. I still don't know I would trust it with my life and he definitely needs to go shot it more to gain some confidence in it. It was properly cleaned and lubed and we tried all kinds of 1911 mags and everything else we could think of. In comparison my Springfield loaded is cheaper, is (IMHO) more accurate, and after the first 50 rounds has been perfectly reliable.

There are stories about the Scorpion having issues. I haven't heard much bad about the Tac Ops, been though they're basically the same gun with a different finish.

I have the Spartan .... no issues ... I had a couple feeding issues ... I threw away the crappy mags and used my mccormicks and it never happened again ... cheap crappy 1911 mags are a possible cause for the above episode ...

Call Sig tell them whats going on. They will email you a Fedex 2day air label, you will have it back sooner than you think, and working fine.

My C3 had feed issues to start with, Sig has excellent customer service and I had my pistol back in under one week! Problems solved.

I love my C3, and trust my life to it.

I love my Nightmare Carry. I really like the fastback frame. Fits my hands great! I wish CT made grips other than the Rosewood grips for a fastback.
Mine does like to fling brass in my face though. I've got a nice red burn mark on my eyebrow where a piece of brass landed on top of my glasses. I've been debating whether it's worth it to call Sig about it, or just adjust the ejector myself.

My brother has a Scorpion and it has been flawless for him with factory Sig and McCormick mags.

EDIT: Mine lives in an Alien Gear IWB.

Have the Target and its been great. Quite possibly the most accurate handgun I own with me shooting it. I can only think of one failure and it was to feed and it was round specific as it wouldn't feed that exact round 3 times in 2 mags but all others were fine out of both mags. I have 3 Sig mags and all seem to function fine. I have no intention of carrying it so I'm less concerned about holster fit.
The trigger is light enough with no creep or over travel and I really like the front/rear strap stippling they did at the factory. Very nice. Its the 1911 that made me wonder why I waited so long to have one in my possession.
I would definitely purchase another based on my experience with this one.

I enjoy my fastback carry. 700+ rounds, not a single failure.

Have an STX. Handles, shoots great. Nice trigger. Never misses a beat. Looks sharp too.
It is better to have a gun and not need it, than to need a gun and not have it.
