New CZ75

Postby mmcnx2 on Wed Apr 23, 2014 4:56 pm

Well a new stainless CZ 75 B followed me home this weekend.

Anybody done a DA to SAO conversion on one of these. I've Goggled it and I'm aware it is do'able just want to talk to someone that has actually done it.

I'm thinking a SA trigger, race trigger and removing the firing pin block. Add new springs and maybe a extended firing pin.

I am curious to what you find out also. I picked one up recently also and its a great shooter. Sights need to be replaced though.

I was looking at some from Cajun http://www.cajungunworks.com/sights_and_sight_sets.html

Did you just buy that beautiful firearm, or are you trying to sell that piece of crap?

here is a crappy cell phone pic, looks better in person. Mine is actually brushed stainless. Kind of a mystery as they don't list it on CZ's website. They only list polished and matte finish.

Or Stuart and tell him Larry sent ya :-) Besides CZCustom.com (Ghost products is their sales for parts to do it yourself) Cajun Gun Works is another biggy for CZ work in Louisiana near Duck Commander headquarters. http://www.cajungunworks.com/

Lot of instruction and info on the CZ web site also http://www.czfirearms.us/ if you have not been there.

If you're looking to turn that work horse into a race horse, the kits you from CJW won't steer you wrong. I've had one of my 75s tweeted with their kits, number 2 should be ready to run next weekend.

Purdy gun! My CZ75B compact has been my carry gun for a while. I put Crimson Trace laser it and enjoy those. I had a pistol follow me home this weekend too, but I've not shot it yet (tonight) so I'm not ready to share. Did polish the feed ramp. Happy shootin.

Well I did a swap, the stainless is gone because a SA came in. I liked the stainless, but the SA conversion was going to add another $150+ and instead the SA direct form the factory is actually cheaper than the stainless.

Trigger is a lot better than the DA/SA but still not up to my 1911's. I'm sure it cant be lightened up and the draw shortened up.
