Looking for Browning HiPower gunsmith - preferably local

Postby Erik_Pakieser on Sun May 18, 2014 5:23 pm

I am looking for someone to work on the trigger of an FEG HiPower clone. I normally contact C&S for this kind of work, but they on a bit of a backlog. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a local 'smith who had experience with HiPowers.

I can strongly recommend Don Willams from the Actionworks in AZ. Not much of a website, but he is an Hi Power expert. He did beautiful job on mine. New Novak cut for sights, stipple and refinish. Flawless outcome on a pistol with huge sentimental value.

If you want local I would try Paul Grundhauser. http://grundhausergunworks.com
Paul is very talented and does a lot of work with local USPSA competitors pistols. He would certainly be able to do a very nice trigger job. He builds awesome open guns.
