I was out at the range today and shooting 10 rounds at each target. At about 120 rounds, I noticed that the trigger didn't stop where it normally does [where the last safety disengages]. The trigger simply pulls through with no change in tension and no shot fired. If I dry fire the gun, it appears to work properly, but not with ammunition loaded. All the rounds were 1.275" in overall length. I got a Magtech (blue box) round from the guy next to me and tried to fire a .45 ACP 230 FMC(or FMJ, I don't recall) and had the same result .. no fire. I gave the round back and went home. I looked at all my spent cases and they were in good condition other than being dirty
So, is this an issue with the trigger? Or something else? Everything looks file when I field strip the gun, but, obviously, I did not remove the trigger or any other part to look. I am just amazed that a GLOCK 21SF would have a failure like this with only about 2000 rounds through it [I clean it after every shooting session]. I am not entirely sure who to call for Warranty, but I suppose the main number in Georgia should do during business hours on Monday.
Anybody have any experience with how long it takes to get a their gun back from a warranty repair?
