That would be called a xp-100

That's single shot only though. A 22-250 semi auto in this ruger setup would be a sweet.

It would not be in this set up. To do a .22-250 in a semi-auto handgun would take a different action. This is like saying I would like a 1911 in .30-06 with a single stack in the grip.

I picked up a used original last Friday after seeing this. I like the look of the original a lot better and got a good deal on it. The takedown version seems to have some people really excited but I just don't get the point.

I can see Ruger making another barrel for the take down. Maybe a 14 inch or a 6 inch etc..

I'm actually really interested in the Charger Takedown model, I have the rifle version and it's great.

Except it was originally assembled as a pistol... so 18" barrel for pistol league, and switching between SBR/Rifle/Pistol at will (with appropriate tax stamp of course)... IANAL, I'm probably wrong about all of the above.

Having an itch again for a charger. Anyone get one lately care to post your opinion? Already have a S&W 15-22. I like to have a pair of firearms for calibers I currently have.

I never knew it was NOT available. I got one a few months ago. Put a VQ trigger in it. It's a lot of fun, light and easy to handle.

Prices came down a bit. Made the mistake of handling one. have you tried 100 yard shots with it?

Haven't tried it at 100, just 50. As with all .22's, at least in my experience, ammo sensitive in terms of accuracy.

Watched a video of someone shooting one suppressed. Not bad. If I get one it will have to be the takedown.
