Cool!! You can buy 6" 9x25 Dillon barrels for about $130, throw one in that gun, and shoot hyper velocity 9mm or the Norma spec 10mm loads, which are no joke either.

I was thinking one of these with a .40 conversion barrel would be a fun double duty hunting and open class gun. Might need some porting and trigger work to do open though.

I think the problem with using .40 or 10mm in open would be mag capacity vs the guys that are shooting 9 major or .38 super. It probably wouldn't matter most of the time, but occasionally you'll run into a stage where you have to reload and they don't, and even if you're hyper fast at reloads, they still eat up more time than just pulling the trigger again. Of course, as you know, this is coming from a guy who shoots a gun the size of a G26 in production, so don't take that to mean I think you'd be nuts to do it; just be aware that you'd be at a disadvantage.

I do like the Underwood ammo in my G20, the factory ammo is like shooting the .40's.
How does the 9x25 compare to the 10mm Norma spec loads?
