Handgun Photo Thread

Postby Uffdaphil on Thu Mar 05, 2015 5:58 pm

I don't see any continuing photo thread for handguns. So let's start one here. (If there is one elsewhere, I'll change the title of this post.)

My new baby .22 Magnum. I always wanted an NAA mini, but did not like the pop-out cylinders. Enter the Sidewinder. With standard flip-out to load. Barely used with two boxes of Gold Dot short barrel ammo for $275. Can't wait to make some noise after my Florida trip.

Ok, I'll play. My latest pistol purchase. A 1980 Ruger Speed Six chambered in .357 magnum. Since this picture it's had a spurred hammer swapped in (5 minute task) and a pair of Pachmayr grips added. Shoots great and the trigger pull is so sweet.

I've posted this before but I like it so now you guys have to look at it again. Ruger 3" GP100 and 2.25" SP101.

MXGreg, I'm jealous of your Speed Six. It's what I was looking for until I gave up and bought the GP100. The GP100 is newer and and much better, I'll trade you even up just because I'm a great guy.

[Edit to add:] Of course I'll want that factory spurless hammer. You can go here if you want to read my rant about DAO revolvers. :)

[Edit 2/27/16: I see ImageShack's free photo hosting has gone away. Here's a re-post from Photobucket:]

Pat, that's a mighty fine offer, but I'm going to have to pass. I wouldn't want to take advantage of you like that.

Here's a couple more of my favorites. They've been posted in the past, but what the heck.

I'm not really into revolvers, but everyone loves a Python, right?
