Since Rodentman has been slacking, let me contribute this one. Not new gun but new grips, magwell and holster:

Thank you. It was https://www.nightingaleleather.com and when I ordered the wait was only 3-4 months

That is a good looking piece. If they are ivory grips you are lucky to get them these days.

Yes I am a slacker. Have not bought any new guns in awhile. I will post photos of the Korth if I live long enough to see it delivered. It's the Super Sport, and butt ugly as meets my requirements.

Giraffe bone. Kept looking at ivory before the latest "ban" but decided not to get those.

Comfortable retirements beats a few new guns any day, so no pressure :)

Well, not to be a total slacker, decided to spend some of my bonus on this new DE357L5 lighter version of the DE.

I will be getting more SS than I thought and I have laid off the ugly stuff for awhile now, so...

Well, I'm not terribly jealous of this purchase, and it's not as ugly as you, me, and PROBABLY not as butt-ugly as Tootsie!!! :( :o  :? The problem I had with the original 357 DE was that it was the HEAVIEST .357 ever made, and considering you can get a .357 well under a pound if you're stoopid enough, its BFG 44 and 50 caliber heritage did not stand it in good stead. At 49 ounces, it's still one of the biggest 357's out there, and an ounce heavier than my SAR K2 45 with 15 rounds of 45 ammo in it.

If somebody offered me a choice of the DE 357 or the Coonan, I would take the Coonan in a second! All that stainless steel and 1911 style chucking full power 357 loads downrange with a big fat fireball to go with!

BTW, your Thor single shot is as ugly as me and Tootsie combined!!!

Did somebody say Coonan? Yes please!

Yes, the Coonan is a hoot to shoot. Hopefully loaded to the hilt this one will provide some bang for the buck too.

Jesus!! It must have taken at least a FIVE axis lathe to machine the brake on that thing!! :( :o  :? Since this thing STILL weighs 3 pounds, are the frame and barrel steel??

I hope they are gearing their marketing exclusively to retired guys -- they're the only ones with enough time on their hands to clean all them little holes!!!!! :)

I bet Hollywood will like it though - think of the close up potential...

Kill and cook at the same time. That's a fire ball. Had a Ruger Alaskan 44 mag that blew a big fireball.

The Desert Eagle L5 features a 5-inch barrel and a hard-coat anodized aluminum frame with a carbon-steel frame and slide, putting the total weight of the gun at under 50 ounces.

The weight is to make it NY compliant.

I should have it tonight and will post the obligatory photos.
