I only have a couple of years of experience with 1911s myself.

I have shot Tauri (including a 1911) and own 3 of their revolvers. I have shot and one 1 Para 1911. Both are serviceable for what they are and I could not really complain about either but between the 2 the Para is higher quality gun.

Well I like how my thread started getting popular the second it got off topic. Anywho I got a fine deal on a stainless ruger so I went with that instead.... Thanks for the all of your input (even the completely off topic stuff)

Just picked up a 3" 1911. Looks like I got some training to do this summer.

Also own a Glock 30S that's been very reliable.
