Count your silencers before they're hatched

Postby PhilaBOR on Mon May 18, 2015 8:21 am

So....on the chance they are legalized in Minnesota...
What to buy? What brand? What caliber? Pistol, rifle, pistol caliber carbine...
I'm thinking a 45 for my 1911. Will a silencer affect the dynamics of the slide causing malfunctions?
And a .223 for my home defense "pistol".
No idea on brands: AAC, SilencerCo, Sig, etc.

Pile on...Go!

Found this site:

http://nfatalk.org/

They have side by side comparisons for a lot - although some info is a few years old.

Realistically - I think I'm going to wait for a stocking dealer.

Searching for reviews I limit to one year. A lot of new stuff has come out. I want the Griffin 30SD. Same as the Recce 7, bit with QD. http://www.griffinarmament.com/30SD-762 ... ga30sd.htm

Works for 7.62, 300BLK and 5.56.

Yeah, members only. No instant approval either - but it only took a few hours for an admin to approve it. Lots of info.

I obviously don't have vast experience, but after online research I want to buy silencerco for everything.

Don't you think it's better than many. He likes to tax and spend and there is a lot of money in this bill with the
session ending soon.
One can only hope for the best.

And that's why it may get signed or pass under protest in my opinion.
Tax & Spend

I thought this bill was a policy bill. The only money included would be ancillary to support the implementation of new rules. Budget bills are separate.

I could be wrong, I thought when I read it earlier it had a lot of money in it but I could be mixing it up with another bill I read I tend to have that problem nowadays. If there's no money in the bill I see no reason for him not to veto it.
