As an aside, I recently added the apex trigger kit to my 9mm Shield. Reduced pull by a couple pounds and smoothed it out some. Did not knock my socks off though. Take up is very long due to the trigger safety, which is still as annoying as factory trigger. As for install, the hardest part is removing the rear sight, but it's not impossible. Pretty simple job if you have a vise to hold the slide while the rear sight is pounded out. I don't recall how the front sight is attached as it's not impacted by a trigger job.
