Walther PPQ 45

Postby treed on Tue Aug 11, 2015 8:48 am

Walther is finally bringing out the PPQ in 45 acp. Pics and video is out with a Oct release date. As a fan of the "Q" this is sending tingles all over my body. :D

Maybe I just saw some weirdly shot pics, but I thought it was awkward looking. The slide looks taller than that of the 9/.40 version (or the P99). I don't have a lot of interest in .45 anyway, but I know this will be a big deal to those who do, so rock on, Walther. Way to give people what they want. :)

I have a Glock 30s that I carry everday but hey variety is the spice of life. Besides who wants to be a one trick pony. ;)

If you really want a 45 get a real one, 1911.

I have 3 1911's, 1 in 38 super and 2 .45s son that's not really an issue. I guarantee they are all real but so are striker guns. Try one you never know they grow on you.

Clearly you don't get a joke. 1st with 3 1911's you still have training wheels on your bike. With the pro-staff work I do, I've shot most of the product lines from the current brands in the vast majority of calibers. So I really doubt your in the position to call me son. Striker guns are fine I have had a number of them, kept one. They are durable and functional just nothing spectacular and certainly nothing that should send tingles. Kinda like saying 'stop the presses a new 870 express is out', fine but no big deal.

Glocks are a $400 pistol shrouded in a $550 price tag that still need trigger and sight upgrades.

Yes, I have a Glock.

I'm eagerly awaiting the new all stainless P225.
