Question about Bud's gun prices

Postby Seismic Sam on Mon Nov 02, 2015 11:34 am

This is carried over from another thread, and someone posted that the price of a K2 SAR 45 with 14+1 capacity hovers around $395 at Buds, but when I checked it was $507 with a message to "make an offer". Is there any chance that if I bid $395 they'll actually take that bid?? Seems unlikely to me...

Possibility #2: Does Bud's discount guns sometimes like on Black Friday after Thanksgiving or other time of the year??

Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you!!

Question about Bud's gun prices

Postby gun_fan111v2 on Mon Nov 02, 2015 11:48 am

I have seen K2 at that price on Buds but not for a while - although I have not been looking the past few months.

From what I saw Buds does not do much sales around holidays - their prices are more mysterious and can change 10 times per day :)

At first, their Make an Offer on new guns was set to 2% discount on everything but I have seen deeper discounts being approved lately - so it depends on a model. If you log out of the account and log back in - you will have another 5 tries at it ;)

Good luck! Let us know how she shoots

2 weeks ago they where but not since then. Buds is a check several times a day type pricing.

Cool!! I got some time on my hands, and getting a deal is a good incentive to play the game. Like I said, this gun is essentially a Tanfoglio made in Turkey, and a 14 +1 45 for ~ $400 is a hell of a bargain, and a serious piece of hardware. I'm going to be spending about a month in NOLA at the end of the year waiting for my grandson to be born, so I can afford to have a crooked NOLA cop lift this off of me and walk away pretty easy.

I've never had much more than 5-10% offer accepted.

Well, thanks for the intelligence, and even if it's only 10% on a gun that is $507 today that brings the price down into the 450's which is really tempting.

Not that I shoot it a lot but I really do like the feel and the extra rounds. Sold a couple of CZ 97B's in favor of those extra rounds.

Well, my dialing in to Budsgunshop.com seems to have caused some sort of time rift that has made time stop dead on the website, and the price for the K2 SAR 45 has been stuck at $507 since I first logged in. No price fluctuation at all, much less 10 times a day.... Just my luck....

Question about Bud's gun prices

Postby ZardozCZ on Thu Nov 05, 2015 1:54 pm

It hit 395 and make offer last week, but varied at different times and search parameters it seems. Someone on a CZ forum grabbed one at the good price while it was there.

Can't explain why it jumps around but just be ready should you ever see a good price! They'll honor it but it may not last the day or hour.

On 10/28 at this link the price was $395 on make an offer - http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/prod ... ACP+4.7%22]http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/76461/EAA+170840+SAR+Arms+K2+14%2B1+45ACP+4.7%22

Well it's not a K2... or a .45... but it is a SAR(something) and only $249.

Yes, well, but 17 round 9mm's are about as rare as politicians who want to ban guns, while a 14 round 45 is on the other end of the firepower spectrum. Thanks for the thought, but I already got a 17 +1 BUL Cherokee compact for about $355, and it's a rebranded Tanfoglio. So far the price has moved 2 up on Bud's, so if they are offering bargains I am missing them with checking in 4 times a day. Thanks to whoever posted the gun cost cell app....

It's not SAR Tupperware, it's Israeli Tupperware that was made by Tanfoglio. In addition, it's fake Tupperware, as the slide and all the parts on the slide are steel, and only the frame is mostly plastic. Tanfoglio has been making guns of this pattern up to and including compact 10mm models for well over a decade.

Well, ran into some bad news on the Gunwatcher App. Checked on my laptop at Bud's about 8 AM, and the price had gone from $512 to $507. Checked Gunfinder, and it still said $512 until about 5 hours later. Interesting about the fact that the price might come back differently just based on search terms. I'm not sure how many ways you can search for a SAR K2.
