Ruger LCP recall

Postby flyhigh511 on Mon Dec 22, 2008 6:08 pm

I just received my LCP back from Ruger and I think it's worth this comment. It's not common to see such exemplary customer service as this. They sent me a packing box and prepaid shipping when they were ready to accept the pistol, so that you are not without it for long. Promised to return it within two weeks, but the reality is I sent it to them on Tuesday and got it back on Friday.
They returned it with a new magazine with a perfectly fitted fingertip extension, a beautiful cap, and a Thank You letter.
I was very impressed with this pistol before, and after this experience I will be a Ruger fan for life.

Good to hear that they are trying to make things right on something that they did wrong.

Glad to hear the turnaround is fast. According to a customer service rep I spoke with, they're currently about 2 months out from the time you make a claim to the time you receive the return kit. Should be getting mine in a couple weeks.
