Ordered a rather ugly gun today...

Postby Rodentman on Sat Jan 28, 2017 3:50 pm

Well there goes the annual bonus, but it's for a good cause. This one is pretty pricey so the ugliness per dollar is quite low. I don't think it's too ugly though. Who knows when it will arrive. I put the special order receipt with my will and health care directive so my kids can inherit it, or at least try to get the deposit back.

L frame S&W grips will fit it so I may change the Hogue grips. I know I have a few sets of Ahrends nice wood grips that will fit it.

A Korth is a Korth, of Korth of Korth.

I think you eye sight is fading - its plenty ugly no matter what the price. It could use more rails on the cylinders, the grips and maybe on the bottom of the barrel.

Purdy ugly. Yup.

So you have room for a side mounted light, but no AFG. Definitely missed the boat on the rails under the barrel. Maybe that'll be Gen 2?

It's as BUTT UGLY as the North side of Scratch when he's staring into the sun at noon!!

BTW - for an ugly gun, that looks like a pretty effective wood rasp!!!

I think it'll be fun to shoot. You know I really don't care what it looks like to some. I think it's pretty cool. Hope I live long enough to get it.

That's all that matters RM.

Hope you get it soon and play with it.

I just personally don't care for rails everywhere, especially on a revolver.

I can't decide until I see a DBAL on the side rail.

Maybe it's for extra grip when used as a club after you run out of your 6 shots, or it's to hurt even more when shoved up a rectum?

I did think it looked akin to a broach when I first saw it. First wheel gun to wear out holsters from the inside. :?

Damm that is a beauty. What is the lead time on those?
Guns are not the problem, people are the problem. And short of lobotomizig everyone who has a bad thought they will continue to be for the forseeable future.
