Took my 13 yo son to BV pistol range today

I think they have a Ruger Bearcat at Gunstop. The smaller than Single Six sized single action would be a good choice for newer shooters, I would think, especially having to cock it deliberately each time you shoot.

Otherwise an old Model 10 would be a good choice for moving to larger calibers.
