Well, it's been a while since I posted about or bought an ugly gun, but I have a reputation to uphold! The stars aligned and i was able to acquire this Sig P210: I know it's the inferior USA model, not the German or Swiss one, but it looks and feels rather well made. Range trip pending...

Crikey....why is the handgrip so long and flared? I wouldn't say ugly but definitely a little funky.

I'm assuming it has a 50 round double stack magazine for the length and girth of that grip- Yikes! Maybe that's the gun on TV and Movies that never runs out of ammo - it's made in that little reloading room attached to the slide.............

It doesn't really seem that way in person. Perhaps it is a distortion from the angle of the camera. I know that the closer one gets to the object, the more such effects appear in the photo. Maybe I'll back off the distance and then zoom the photo in digitally.

Or people are just wanting to point out "ugliness" so my feelings won't be hurt.

Admittedly, the grips are substantial, but so are my hands.

Had the same on a 97 CZ blued and one of the very few I regret selling even though I would take my SAR K2 over it as far as shooting goes. NIL gripes are cool

That is a gorgeous firearm. As to the grips they look very functional to me.

Always reminded me of the S&W Model 41.

RM, that gun will need it's own storage area. It will make all your "ugly" guns jealous. That, is one Beautiful piece of iron.
