SAR K2P

Postby aht_six on Thu Jan 25, 2018 8:22 pm

Anyone else have a SAR K2P 9mm? I didn't have a 9mm anymore, but I did have a bunch of 9mm ammo and a couple thousand Precision Delta 9mm bullets. I saw that CDNN had the SAR K2P 9mm on Gun Broker for $249. I really like my SAR K2 .45, It's worked flawlessly for me. So,I thought for $249 the K2P was worth trying.

I haven't shot it yet, I plan are get out this weekend.

Haven't tried one. I have the K2 45 and like you I like that gun a lot and have wondered how the other SAR guns are. Let us know after you get it to the range.

It will be interesting to find out if the 9mm version has the same rear site centering issues that seem to plague the .45.

Please let us know what you think after your range visit.

Took it out Beaverbrook yesterday, it was 18 degrees so we didn't do any sight adjustments, just shot it. 200 rounds of 115 gr FMJ reloads, the gun worked perfectly. It does shoot a little low.

The Grandson came along to help me burn up ammo, he had no complaints.

K2P is my wife’s gun. Nothing fancy but has a very good trigger, has never had a functional hiccup and hers is quite accurate. Great low cost DA/SA. Have had no problems whatsoever and it has not been finicky at all which is critical for her.

The K2P is the only gun cheaper in CDNN than the SAR K2, and AFAIK it's a good quality 9mm with a price that is unbeatable.

The response is decidedly tilteted, with"the pricey SAR about $350 and the 9mmfor a trivial, almost embarrassing $250.
