Forgot to ask. Do you have to swap out the spring/buffer when switching between the three uppers?

Nice looking gun. Is that considered an AR pistol or just a really short rifle?

Pistol brace makes it a pistol. Otherwise it would be a no no without a tax stamp. :shameonyou:

No, CMMG suggests using a standard weight buffer and spring with their kit, and of course a standard one works well with 300BLK also.

Thanks. I am finding that out about a 300blk as I read somewhere that a pistol will run well with an H2 buffer but now my slide does not lock open on empty mag.

If someone doesn't mind waiting, and wants a better discount, let me know... I'm setup as a dealer for them. But keep in mind, they told me 12 weeks and were just under that time.

I ordered the 5” from Midway about an hour before you posted your offer :)

I had a chance to take the Banshee upper for a test drive today - thanks again for the tip, this makes a great AR pistol! Ran well with both 115gr RN and 147grn FP bullets, flawless function.

My 300blk upper on the other hand is proving to be more finicky. Last time it ran great with an H2 buffet but did not hold the bolt open on empty mag. Now with standard buffer the bolt locks open but I had three double feeds in 20 rounds with 123gr ammo. One jammed up pretty well with the empty case stuck above the bolt. I am debating if I should try an H buffer or start messing with the adjustable gas block. Will probably try an extra strength extractor spring first with the standard buffer.
